Race organisers have confirmed that Abu Dhabi will once again host a young drivers’ test at Yas Marina.

After the 2010 season finale, the spectacular venue played host to a test where inexperienced youngsters are entrusted with the F1 teams’ grand prix cars.

But this year, it is Brazil that is hosting the season finale.

However, we reported this month that Abu Dhabi will nonetheless continue to host the young drivers’ session two weeks before the 2011 season concludes.

"We are delighted to be hosting the young driver testing," the circuit’s operations director Mark Hughes is quoted by The National.

"We have been working very closely with FOTA to ensure they get the dates they want."
