Jenson Button is also suffering with a sinus problem.

The 2009 world champion, who has never stood on the podium at Silverstone let alone won his home grand prix, banged his knee earlier this week during a media jet-skiing event in London.

"It was a stand-up jet-ski and we were told not to lean, but I did and fell in a strange way," said the Briton.

But it has emerged that the tweaked knee is not the 31-year-old’s only problem this weekend.

"I’ve now got a sinus problem, so I can’t swim, run or ride a bike. But I can drive an F1 car!", laughed Button.
