A number of driver have been linked with StefanGP should the team get the nod from the FIA to compete this year.

The Serbian-based team has contracts in place and enjoy support and design from Toyota. They are waiting to hear if one of the new teams originally granted a position in the field, will be unable to satisfy their obligations.

Formula One CEO Bernie Ecclestone has already stated he would like to see the team compete with Ralf Schumacher behind the wheel and rumours suggest that the team are scheduled to test with Kazuki Nakajima.

Newsweek now reports that former Renault protégé Romain Grosjean is an option for the team alongside former BMW Sauber tester Christian Klien and Campos Meta contracted driver Bruno Senna.
