Ferrari is fully back to work since yesterday. Over the festive period, some areas continued work on the design of the new car and on parts production and in fact, in the days immediately leading up to Christmas the first 2011 car chassis underwent and passed a series of crash tests. However, only today is the full workforce back at their posts. The new season beckons, with the launch of the new car planned for the final week of this month, while testing gets underway on 1st February at Cheste’s “Ricardo Tormo” circuit near Valencia.

Next Monday sees the start of the twenty first running of “Wrooom,” the event that has traditionally brought together the Scuderia Ferrari drivers and their two-wheeled counterparts from the Ducati Team, as well as members of the specialist media on the snow-capped mountains of Madonna di Campiglio. For Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa it will be a chance to take up the reins once more in a relaxed environment and informal setting, as well as tackling some winter sports before taking on the usual challenge that brings the week to a close, when they get behind the wheel on the frozen lake in the Trentina region on Friday 14 January.
