While Valentino Rossi was frustrated by poor weather on both Wednesday and Thursday morning, Felipe Massa had no such problems as he took to the track today in the privately owned F2008 Barcelona.
Massa, back with Ferrari and preparing for his first major test with the Italian team since his Hungarian Grand Prix qualifying accident last year, completed 400km of running, but no lap times have been published.
"It was a perfect way to optimise my form here in Barcelona," Massa told the Ferrari website. "I’m really happy that I had this opportunity to get behind the wheel. I can’t wait to sit in the new car and get stuck in.”
