The long-awaited return of Kimi Raikkonen will become effective later this month. The Finn will be back at the wheel of a Formula One car for the first time since his last Grand Prix appearance in 2009.
The former World Champion will drive a Renault R30 at Valencia on January 23-24. This two-day test will allow Raikkonen to re-acclimatise himself to F1 before the first pre-season official test which will take place at Jerez in early February.
The Lotus driver will have a total of eight – two at the wheel of the R30 and six at the wheel of this year’s car – days of testing before the first round of the season.
