Adrian Sutil has admitted he was open-minded about switching to a different team for 2011.

Instead, the Silverstone-based team’s ever-present German driver has recommitted for a fifth consecutive season, with a deal made official in Glasgow on Wednesday.

Speaking to Auto Bild Motorsport, the 28-year-old admits he looked around at his options at the end of last year.

But he insisted: "Force India was always the first priority, even if you have to listen to what the others can offer you.

"I am very pleased to be staying," added Sutil.
