Pre-season testing kicked off this morning at the 4.005km Valencia circuit giving the seven teams present the first real chance to shakedown their new cars.
With 14 days of testing remaining after today, this morning’s action means little in terms of pace, with most following a predetermined shakedown programme.
Ferrari was unable to complete a short test as planned at Fiorano last week due to icy conditions, but Felipe Massa was on track this morning in the new F10 setting the pace as of 13.30 local time with a best lap of 1:13.088s.
A full report follows later today.
