Max Verstappen has demonstrated he is not injured in the wake of his huge Monaco crash.
Many predicted the 17-year-old will suffer physically after his big hit into the Ste Devote barriers, but within days he was testing at his favourite kart circuit in Genk, Belgium.
And at the weekend, he demonstrated not only a Formula Renault 3.5 car at Spa-Francorchamps, but also an older Red Bull F1 machine.
The Dutchman insisted: "I feel fine after the crash and don’t have any problems.
"There is no lasting effects or anything, or else I wouldn’t have gone karting straight away," he told his own website.
Verstappen also said he enjoyed driving the Formula Renault 3.5 car, explaining: "It’s fun to drive and has a lot more downforce than I expected."
As for the older F1 car, he said: "The V8 is quite noisy which is good fun for the crowd, but the current cars are more powerful and faster."
