The forecast is encouraging

Nothing new under the cloudy sky of Jerez. This morning the ten teams present at the "Circuito Permanente de Velocidad" in Andalusia got up to see a grey sky but the forecast is encouraging : only a few minutes until the track is dry.

Felipe Massa went out for his first run just after 9am with a new set of extreme wets, returning onto the track just after 10am. Today’s programme foresees collecting data regarding the car’s behaviour under humid and wet track conditions, before the team will work on the set up once the track has dried off. Until 10am Felipe had driven around a dozen laps, the fastest in a time of 1.28.299.
