Alain Prost has slammed the 2010 movie about Ayrton Senna.

"I hate the Senna movie. I really hate it," the F1 legend said.

In the film, British film makers depicted a strong and personal rivalry between Prost and Senna, who was killed in a crash in 1994.

"They could have made something fantastic. But it would have been a different story," the Frenchman told Auto Motor und Sport.

"It’s really a shame that after hours of interviews with many of the people involved, something like that came of it.

"In the end it portrayed me as bad and Senna as good, and that’s a pity."

Indeed, Prost said that at the time of Senna’s death the year after Prost’s retirement, their relationship was good and they talked "two or three times a week" about "everything".
