The first free practice session for the Austrian Grand Prix has just ended with Lewis Hamiton fastest in 1’04’’838.

Sebastian Vettel sets the second fastest time in 1’04”982, while Charles Leclerc was fourth in 1’05”141, just behind Valtteri Bottas.

The Finnish driver had to start the day with the Spec 1 engine, as an oil leak discovered on his car just before FP1 prompted a quick swap in the Mercedes garage

Both Ferrari SF90s were fitted with some test items to evaluate and compare, while in terms of tyres, the both the German and Monegasque drivers only ran the Medium. Sebastian did 21 laps, while Charles did 24.

Verstappen and Gasly were 5th and 6th for Red Bull.
