According to the calculation of the Compensation Weight based on the three previous events – Hungary, Slovakia and Austria – the Citroën C-Elysée remains the reference model and receives the maximum compensation weight of 60 kg in addition to the minimum weight of 1100 kg.
However, for the first time since the Compensation Weight has been applied at the Hungaroring, Honda and Chevrolet will carry ballast as well.
This is the consequence of the fact that the Civic and Cruze cars have further reduced their gap from the French vehicles to 0.7 seconds.
Only the LADA Granta cars will keep on running with no compensation weight added.
