A special support for Jules Bianchi

the FFSA will support Jules’ career

In the afternoon a special press conference was held at the Bahrain International Circuit’s paddock with Jules Bianchi, together with Nicolas Deschaux, President of the Fédération Française du Sport Automobie (FFSA), and Nicolas Todt, Bianchi’s manager. It was announced during the press conference that the FFSA will support Jules’ career, who is one of the great talents amongst the young drivers who emerged over the last two years.

The French ART Grand Prix driver and reigning Champion in the F3 Euro Series arrived in Bahrain today to take part in the last race in the GP2 Asia Series, the winter edition of the Championship which will start on the Catalan circuit in Montmelò on the weekend of 9 May.

During the press conference everybody underlined how the GP2 Series, launched in the year 2005 and emerged from the International Formula 3000, is one of the best schools and stepping stone to arrive in the pinnacle of motorsport - Formula 1 – also thanking FIA for the great work done so far. Bianchi, the young hope and now part of the Ferrari Driver Academy with one test held in Jerez last December, has a long-term contract with the manufacturer from Maranello, involving him also in work with the Scuderia’s new simulator.
