It is with deep regret that ART Grand Prix has announced that they will terminate their Formula 3 programme and not be taking part in any Formula 3 Series in 2011.

The evolution of the company means that ART Grand Prix will take on some new directions that will be revealed in the near future. ART Grand Prix would like to thank their partners, the first being HWA and Mercedes who have offered a high quality partnership without which it could not have built up such successes in the F3 Euroseries.

ART Grand Prix would also like to thank all the drivers who contributed to one of the most prestigious list of success in the discipline with a hundred race victories.

ART Grand Prix remains completely focussed and committed to the GP2/GP3 championships and will continue to honor its philosophy which is to succeed in some of the higher formulas and to promote young drivers as they have done in the past with Nico Rosberg, Lewis Hamilton, Alexandre Premat, Adrian Sutil, Romain Grosjean, Nico Hülkenberg, Paul di Resta, Jules Bianchi, Kamui Kobayashi or Valtteri Bottas who were or are all involved in Formula One, as well as Bruno Spengler and Jamie Green, who delivered the team its first title in the F3 Euro Series in 2004.

Frederic Vasseur: “The F3 Euro Series was the ideal platform for ART Grand Prix, one on which the company based its growth and its success since the birth of the discipline in 2003. It is with regret that due to the termination of our F3 programme we leave the F3 Euro Series after having obtained all the titles between 2004 and 2009. We make a point of thanking HWA as well as our partners and drivers, but the time has come for ART Grand Prix to concentrate on new ambitious challenges. The team has had the privilege of enjoying a solid and strong relationship with Mercedes-Benz as it was part of the foundation of the company’s program in this discipline which constitutes one of the best formative schools for higher levels in autosport. ART Grand Prix wishes them the best for the year to come.”
