PG Andersson says he is confident that PROTON Motorsports will continue to make improvements to its Satria Neo Super 2000s in this year’s Intercontinental Rally Challenge.

Andersson is 16th overall after losing ground on Friday evening with two punctures. However, team-mate Giandomenico Basso is ninth overall in the second PROTON entry.

“We’ve had a clean run this morning and I’m confident we can make more improvements,” said the Swedish driver. “It’s difficult for me at the moment because I would look a bit stupid if I made a mistake after losing all that time yesterday. Now I’m just trying different things to help Basso.”
