It was another four days of intense work for Tiago Monteiro and Honda at the Jerez de la Frontera circuit in Spain last week where they continued their preparations for the rapidly approaching 2015 WTCC season. This intense test session was one of the Japanese factory’s best of the pre-season where the results were very positive.

The Jerez test focused on the evaluation of a number of components that were aimed at helping to increase the performance of the Honda Civic and at the end of the four days the team and its drivers were satisfied with the outcome.

"They were four long days, many laps around the track testing a number of technical solutions. Some worked better than others, but we know exactly which way to go. The fact that we had different weather for this test made it even more productive. We will continue to focus on the work we are doing to develop the car before the start of the new season. We will now take a break for the holiday season, but we will return to the track early in the New Year to continue testing and preparing the Honda Civic as next season is going to be very demanding," who will resume testing at the Valencia circuit in mid-January.

With the end of the year approaching Tiago wishes everyone... "A Merry Christmas and a successful 2015."
