Former F1 and WRC engineer Steve Farrell has joined bamboo-engineering for their campaign in the 2013 FIA World Touring Car Championship season.
Australia-born Farrell holds a top level racing CV that includes jobs such as Chief Engineer at BAR-Honda F1 team and Director of Engineering for the Subaru World Rally Championship programme during his time at Prodrive.
Amongst Farrell’s duties will be to race engineer the team’s Chevrolet Cruze WTCC cars driven by James Nash and Alex MacDowall.

Steve Farrell said: “I’m thrilled to be joining bamboo. I have been talking to Richard for a while and the time is now right to make the move.
