Campos Racing confirmed the plans of stepping up its programme in the FIA World Touring Car Championship.
The Spanish outfit directed by former Formula One driver Adrián Campos and managed on the track by Joan Orús will field two of the new RML-built Chevrolet Cruze cars for Hugo Valente and Dušan Borković.
The team will also run SEAT León vehicles in the Yokohama Trophy reserved for 2013-spec cars. The names of the drivers will be unveiled later.
Valente, 21-year old from France, winner of the 1992 French SEAT Cup, faces his second full season in WTCC; his best result in 2013 was eighth in Argentina. Borković, the first Serbian driver to take part in WTCC is a newcomer to the championship; after winning the FIA European Hillclimbing title for Category 1 in 2012, he competed in the 2013 European Touring Car Cup winning one race and finishing third in the S2000 class.
