Dani Sordo plans to make his MINI John Cooper Works WRC more aggressive for Friday afternoon’s loop of three stages.
The Spaniard, back in action in the FIA World Rally Championship for the first time since Brother Rally New Zealand at the end of June, is in sixth place for the Prodrive WRC Team.
“The car is good but it can be more aggressive, more active,” said Spanish ace Sordo. “We had two soft and two hard compound tyres for the first stage and that was only good for the first three kilometres.
“We have had some understeer and we have lost some time with our road position because a lot of cuts are being taken so the road is quite dirty. It’s difficult to catch up the time but we will try.”
