Stefano Coletti will not take part in the remainder of the 2011 season. The Monegasque driver collided with Mikhail Aleshin during today’s feature race in Spa-Francorchamps. Coletti could not avoid the slow Carlin car in poor visibility conditions.
After the impact, the Trident driver could not step out of his car alone. He was later transported to a hospital in Liege where it was found that he sustained two vertebral compression fractures.
