Sunday in Brno, Tom Coronel claimed the second podium of the season for him and the ROAL Motorsport team by finishing second in Race 2 behind Yvan Muller.

After leading the race in the first four laps, the Dutchman could not prevent Muller’s overtaking manoeuvre, but in the second part of the race he drove his BMW 320 TC car with the resolution of defending second position from the assaults of the other Chevrolet drivers.

“I said myself: if Menu overtakes me, than Huff will follow. And I did not want to finish fourth once again like in the first race. I really wanted this podium!” Coronel said.

Team principal Roberto Ravaglia commented: “It has been a positive weekend. The team have worked well from the beginning and Tom’s results have been a well deserved reward.”
