Co-driver Paul Nagle says courage will be rewarded on Rally Internacional de Curitiba this week.
Nagle and driver Kris Meeke won the Intercontinental Rally Challenge qualifier last season aboard a Peugeot UK-backed 207 Super 2000. They will start among the favourites to win the gravel event, which gets underway on Thursday.
“You need full on commitment to win this rally and you must have complete trust in your pacenotes and be fast and ballsy over the crests,” said Irishman Nagle.
“There are lots of small towns and villages in the stages so there are all these speed ramps in quite a few places and that is why you see all those massive jumps. It’s a great event but you need to be brave to go well.”
