Stefano D’Aste is doing more than just impressing with his driving on his return to the FIA World Touring Car Championship – his fashion sense is also creating quite an impression.

The charismatic Italian, back on WTCC duty for the first time since 2013, scored points in the opening WTCC Race of Argentina but was out early in the second encounter following contact.

“We are really happy with the performance of Stefano,” said Dominik Greiner of ALL-INKL.COM Münnich Motorsport. “We had just one day of testing with him in Barcelona and he adapted himself quick to the front-wheel Chevrolet Cruze but he is still in a learning process.

“He did a fantastic job in the qualifying and place the car on P3 for race two. In race one he did a good job and finished in a respectable P9 with a great speed. In race two Stefano got a really, really good start and was able to move in front. Unfortunately he got some hard hits from other drivers around him which forced us to stop the ALL-INKL.COM Cruze within lap one and the race was over for us. Anyway we are happy with our overall performance of the event and are looking forwarded to the next race in Marrakech.”
