FIA ERC Production Car Cup leader Kajetan Kajetanowicz admits he’s exceeded his expectations on day one of the International Jännerrallye.
The multiple Polish champion is 27.3s ahead of class rival – and local ace – Beppo Harrach in sixth overall heading into Saturday’s closing eight stages.
“It’s better than I thought,” said the Lotos Rally Team driver. “The start has been very good, maybe not the perfect day but I am very happy and we see tomorrow what we can do. The conditions have been difficult but I really like it like this.”
Kajetanowicz is making his debut on the Freistadt-based event.
