Petr Fulín is set to take part in his WTCC maiden races this weekend at the Slovakia Ring.

The winner of the 2013 FIA European Touring Car Cup for the Super 2000 category will drive a Campos Racing SEAT León in the fourth race meeting of the world championship.

Fulín had already entered in the season opener at Marrakech, for making a one-off appearance. However he withdrew after the qualifying session, because the Spanish team asked him to give up his engine to his team-mate John Filippi.

Thus Campos Racing decided to reward the Czech driver for his nice gesture, offering him a second occasion.

The Slovak event will be very busy for Fulín, who will be also competing in the European Touring Car Cup, driving a BMW 320si run by Krenek Motorsport. He has already won both races in the Super 2000 TC2 class during the season’s inaugural event al Le Castellet.
