Guy Wilks’ co-driver Phil Pugh says the Peugeot UK pair have no option other than to go on full attack on Saturday’s eight stages.

The Britons, making their third appearance on Barum Czech Rally Zlín, are anxious to make up lost ground in the Intercontinental Rally Challenge title race following a mixed start to their 2011 campaign.

Speaking during service in Otrokovice this morning, navigator Pugh said: “We’ve got to go for it, it’s as simple as that. We had a good test and a good recce and we know the rally. It’s a very fast rally, a bit like Rally Finland on asphalt, but we’ve got to attack all the stages from the start.”

Wilks and Pugh, who are starting seventh on the road in their Kronos Racing-run 207 S2000, are fifth overall following Friday night’s Zlín superspecial.
