Bryan Bouffier will be back in action behind the wheel of a Peugeot 207 Super 2000 when he contests Rallye du Var in the south of France from tomorrow.
Bouffier, who won the opening event of the 2011 Intercontinental Rally Challenge season, Rallye Monte-Carlo, will contest the French championship round alongside regular co-driver Xavier Panseri. He sealed the national title on the event last season when he finished second overall.
“It was quite a late decision to do this rally, in fact it was only made a few days ago,” said Bouffier. “It was a good event for me last year and I hope this year to win the Super 2000 classification. I will have a latest evolution Peugeot 207 Super 2000 and a good team to support me so it’s possible.”
Rallye du Var consists of 12 all-asphalt stages over a competitive distance of 232.52 kilometres. The event is based in the coastal town of Saint-Maxime and runs from 25-27 November.
