Rally San Marino organisers have attracted an entry of quality and quantity for the event’s Intercontinental Rally Challenge debut next week.

Thirty-nine cars will contest the gravel round from 5-7 July with 12 headlining Super 2000 machines in action. They include the ŠKODA Fabias of Andreas Mikkelsen, János Puskádi, Umberto Scandola (pictured) and Sepp Wiegand, the Peugeot 207s of Germain Bonnefis and Laurent Reuche, plus the M-Sport Ford Fiestas of Giandomenico Basso, Patrik Flodin, Juha Salo and Oleksii Tamrazov.

Toshi Arai, Jarkko Nikara and Marco Tempestini will head the Subaru IRC Production Cup effort in their Impreza R4 STIs, Martin Kangur will carry Honda’s IRC 2WD Cup hopes in his Civic Type R, while Robert Consani is one of several Renault Clio drivers due to compete.
