Venezuelan driver teams up with Italian squad again in 2014

Trident have announced today that Johnny Cecotto has signed with their team for the 2014 season. The young Venezuelan driver had started his GP2 career with Maurizio Salvadori’s squad and his experience will be a valuable asset for this year’s new challenge.

Johnny Cecotto said: “I have to confess that I can’t wait to start working with my new team! After the last season, I really want to be back at the wheel to give my best to win! I have found people in Trident with whom I have a really good feeling and with great competences. My new engineers and mechanics have the same determination as me and the same desire to win so I am sure we will do a great job! See you soon on the track!”
