Josef Kral is recovering in hospital near his home in Prague this week following a high speed accident in Valencia at the weekend.

After initial medical examinations in Spain the 19-year old Czech was flown back safely by air ambulance to undergo another full body and MRI scan, concluding he has unfortunately got stable fractures to two of his vertebrae.

The sad news means he will not be fit to race for some time, however his family and the team are relieved to hear that there has been no damage suffered to the spine, and he is due to make a full recovery with no surgery.

Super Nova and GP2 Series send Josef their best wishes and look forward to seeing him back within the paddock very soon.
