Flying Finn Jari Ketomaa will be aiming to make an impact on the FIA European Rally Championship when he contests Rally Liepāja-Ventspils next month.
Just days after the new-look ERC got off to a thrilling start on the International Jännerrallye in Austria, the focus is already beginning to switch to the snow-based Latvian round from 1-3 February where Ketomaa will be in action for the first time.
The 33-year-old will pilot a turbocharged Ford Fiesta Regional Rally Car for the front-running British Autotek Motorsport team and will be among the contenders for victory.
With just under a month to go until the event begins, 21 crews have already signed up to take part.
