Works Škoda Motorsport driver Jan Kopecký has maintained his advantage at the top of the Barum Czech Rally Zlín leaderboard following stage three, the 14.95-kilometre Zádveøice test. But there was frustration for Bryan Bouffier who slipped from third to ninth when he went off the road.

Kopecký, the 2009 event winner, was 1.2s faster through the stage than Intercontinental Rally Challenge leader Juho Hänninen. Kris Meeke was third quickest to reclaim the final podium spot in his Peugeot UK 207.

Bouffier had started the stage in third but lost approximately 15 seconds when he went off the road into a field. Fortunately his Peugeot 207 S2000 didn’t sustain any damage and he was able to finish the stage.

Guy Wilks and Andreas Mikkelsen also spun with Wilks telling Rally Radio that he also struck a deer that wandered into the path of his Fabia.
