François Delecour celebrated his first podium in the Intercontinental Rally Challenge by revealing his desire to contest more rounds of the all-action series in the future.

The French legend finished third overall on the Sibiu Rally in Romania last week in a Peugeot 207 Super 2000 run by the Italian Munaretto Sport operation.

Afterwards, the 49-year-old said: “It was nice to be back on the podium since a long time and now I hope to continue and maybe do some more IRC rallies because I was happy with my performance here. Rallying is my life, I love to make the IRC again but I have no programme apart from the Romanian championship but we will see.”
