Freddy Loix has edged back into the lead of Rali Vinho Madeira after setting the fastest time on the repeated Campo de Golfe stage.
Driving a factory Škoda Fabia S2000 Facelift, Loix is now 1.8s in front of Abarth Grande Punto driver Luca Rossetti on the overall leaderboard.
Peugeot UK’s Kris Meeke, the defending Intercontinental Rally Challenge champion, is still third with Jan Kopecký fourth after going second fastest through the stage.
