Loix to start first on final day in Madeira

Freddy Loix will start the final day of Rali Vinho Madeira at the head of the 39-car field following his impressive exploits on the opening leg of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge qualifier.

The Škoda Motorsport driver will be followed through the opening stages, which get underway at 08:31hrs local time, by IRC champion Kris Meeke and Škoda team-mate Jan Kopecký.

There are a total of eight stages on Saturday covering a competitive distance of 115.16 kilometres. The first car is due to drive over the finishing ramp at 17:12hrs.
