Kris Meeke will take a lead of 14.5 seconds into Friday’s final loop of three stages.
The Peugeot UK driver completed a clean sweep of the middle section’s three tests by edging out Jan Kopecký (Škoda Fabia) by one-tenth of a second on the 11.83-kilometre Teror stage.
Kopecký still holds second place overall with team-mate Juho Hänninen 7.4 seconds behind in third.
Bruno Magalhães was third fastest on the stage as he continues his recovery from transmission failure on stage three.
He is now 11.3 seconds Guy Wilks in fifth with Alberto Hevia sixth.
