Thierry Neuville wants to chase Intercontinental Rally Challenge glory in 2012 and says he is relishing the prospect of a tough fight for title success.

Neuville finished fifth in the 2011 IRC drivers’ standings on the back of standout victories on Tour de Corse and Rallye Sanremo in a Team Peugeot Belgium-Luxembourg 207 Super 2000.

He said: “The plan is to come back to the IRC. I had a nice fight this season with a lot of fast drivers and if you are fighting on each rally, always 100 per cent concentrated and always in the rhythm then you are learning and improving so much more. For the moment [an agreement] looks good but we have to see.”
