The Intercontinental Rally Challenge will get another new team when PS Engineering begins its seven-event campaign on May’s Tour de Corse.

Owned by world champion rally driver Petter Solberg, PS Engineering will enter an M-Sport Ford Fiesta S2000 for Swedish talent Patrik Flodin with backing from tyre firm Hankook.

"Patrik can do very well, he has a lot of talent," said team boss Solberg, whose squad will be run from premises in Torsby, Sweden. "We’re going to do some testing together and I will be in the car with him: we have to do that really so I can help him properly."

Flodin’s schedule will include five rounds on asphalt and two on gravel. He said: "To do this with Petter is a great chance for me and the conditions can’t be better."
