Rickard Rydell can count on even more support than usual when he contests Eurodatacar WTCC Race of Morocco from 17-19 April.
The Honda Racing team Sweden ace, who scored points in both races in Argentina last month, will have his own onsite fan club to cheer his progress behind the wheel of the NIKA Racing Honda Civic WTCC.
Elisabeth Levinsohn, Head of Marketing, Honda Sweden, explained why there would be an influx of Swedes in Marrakech this weekend.
“It’s great to finally have the season underway in full swing,” she said. “For Marrakech, Rickard Rydell will have his very own fan club on site, in the shape of 20 of our skilled dealers who will be treated to a weekend of world-class racing after excelling in a sales competition. It will provide them with a perfect respite following the launches of the new Civic and CR-V models last week. We are all looking forward to an exciting weekend both on and off the track.”
NIKA Racing Team Principal Nicklas Karlsson added: “I am also happy to welcome the board of our partner Cricket, and our group of dealers from Honda Sweden, to the track this weekend.”
