Pepe Oriola will be back to the FIA WTCC for the final race meeting at Macau.

The young Spaniard has confirmed he will take part at the wheel of the SEAT León 1.6 T run by Campos Racing.

Commenting on this one-off, the 20-year-old Catalan said: “I am excited to come back to racing. Macau is always an interesting track and thanks to my sponsor Cali Group Macau, I will go for it. It would be nice to be on the podium of the TC2T category.”

Pepe Oriola, who most recently has been involved in touring car racing as a driver coach for Campos Racing in the European Touring Car Cup, was a regular competitor in the FIA WTCC during the 2011-13 seasons, driving SEAT and Chevrolet cars.

On top of being a runner-up in the 2012 Yokohama Trophy, he became the youngest FIA WTCC race winner in history, when he brought his SEAT to victory in Race 2 at Marrakech last year.
