Martin Prokop will take a lead of 12.1 seconds into day two of the FxPro Cyprus Rally after beating his rival M-Sport Ford Fiesta driver Nasser Al-Attiyah by 1.7s on the day-closing Lemesos Super Special Stage.

Prokop’s fastest time through the 2.45-kilometre all-asphalt test in Limassol’s main port area ended Bryan Bouffier’s sequence of stage wins, which the French driver had extended to three during his afternoon recovery.

The stage was once again held under floodlights in front of a large crowd. Crews are now heading back to the day-closing service at the permanent service park in Limassol.
