Rebellion Racing is heading to the first round of 2011 Le Mans Series with confidence and high determination.

After a positive start of the season, the team expect solid results from both Lola-Toyota LMP1 cars. At Sebring 12 Hours both the car and the new Toyota engine have proved good reliability and the team’s Lola-Toyota were quickest in both days of the Le Mans Series test days earlier this month.

Rebellion Racing will look for the win at 6 Hours of Le Castellet at Paul Ricard HTTT. In the south of France, the Swiss team will face a strong opposition. Aston Martin Racing will introduce their new AMR-One LMP1 car ; the Le Mans Series 2011 opener will see the comeback of two-time LMS champion Pescarolo Team and former LMP2 LMS champions Quifel-ASM launching in LMP1.

Bart Hayden, Rebellion Racing Team Manager : « At Sebring, our main goal was to have the car crossing the finish line with an acceptable classification. One this point we have reached the target.
For the race here at Paul Ricard HTTT and for the Le Mans Series championship our target is the win ! This will not be easy with Aston Martin Racing and Pescarolo Team as our main competitors for this race but I know that both driver pairings and their crews are ready and very motivated right now. »
