Craig Breen leads Rally Liepāja-Ventspils, round two of the FIA European Rally Championship after setting the pace on stage one, Rallyofchampions.com.

Irishman Breen, in a Saintéloc Peugeot Rally Academy 207 Super 2000, was 0.3s faster than top seed Jari Ketomaa over the 6.16-kilometre stage located east of Liepāja in a time of 3m16.6s.

Behind Finnish Ford Fiesta RRC driver Ketomaa, Vasily Gryazin was the top Latvian and leading ERC Production Car Cup competitor in third place, 4.5s down on Breen. François Delecour was fourth quickest in his Visit Romania-backed 207, 0.2s adrift of Gryazin. Vytatutas Švedas, from Lithuania, was fifth quickest in a Mitsubishi Lancer.
