Sebastien Loeb continues to increase his advantage on Neste Oil Rally Finland by going fastest on the first run through Surkee.

The seven-time world champion now heads Citroen team-mate Sebastien Ogier by 9.5s. Ford driver Jari-Matti Latvala equalled Ogier’s time through the stage but is now 14.9s adrift of the lead.

Loeb said: “The stage was good, I was pushing very hard with no problems at all, no mistakes.”

Ogier, who began day two 1.5s behind Loeb, said: “It was okay for me but Seb is pushing really hard so it’s difficult to follow him.”

Crews are now heading to the Urria stage, which is due to go live at 09:55hrs local time.
