Jari-Matti Latvala continues to edge closer to Neste Oil Rally Finland leader Sebastien Loeb after going faster than the seven-time world champion on stage 20, Jukojarvi.

Latvala is now 10.3s behind Loeb with two stages of the high-speed world championship qualifier remaining.

“It went well, I pushed hard but went wide in a few places,” said Ford driver Latvala.

Citroen ace Loeb said: “I made no mistakes and found a good rhythm. I hope it will be enough for the victory.”

Sebastien Ogier was third fastest through the stage and slips to 3.3s behind Latvala. Mikko Hirvonen, who was quickest on the test, has moved ahead of Petter Solberg into fourth position.
