Sebastien Ogier and Dani Sordo have set the same time on the first run through the Haguenau street stage. It means Citroen driver Ogier’s lead over MINI’s Sordo on Rallye de France Alsace remains at 4.9s with three stages of the world championship qualifier left to run.
However, it was Ford’s Jari-Matti Latvala who went fastest to claim his second stage win of the morning in his factory Fiesta.
The second running of the Haguenau test, which is due to get underway at 1308hrs local time, will form the event-closing Power Stage shown live on television around the world.
