Guy Wilks will test a Škoda Fabia S2000 in Sardinia this weekend (20-21 February) in preparation for the first gravel round of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge, Rally Internacional de Curitiba, in Brazil (4-6 March).
The 29-year old Škoda UK Motorsport driver will spend two days testing on a carefully-selected gravel road close to Osilo, in the northern part of the Mediterranean island.
Having finished a solid sixth on the opening round of the IRC, Rallye Automobile Monte-Carlo, this will be the first time that Wilks has driven a Fabia S2000 on gravel since winning the RAC MSA Rally of Scotland three months ago.
“The test road in Sardinia is very similar to what we expect to find in Brazil,” said Škoda UK Motorsport team manager Pierfrancesco Zanchi.
