François Delecour will be able to enjoy his love of driving on snow when he heads to Latvia next month.
The 50-year-old rallying legend has signed up for Rally Liepāja-Ventspils, round two of the FIA European Rally Championship, from 1-3 February.
Delecour, from France, will take part in a Visit Romania-backed Peugeot 207 Super 2000, which he took to seventh place on the ERC season-opener in Austria earlier this month.
“I love driving on snow so my experience will help for sure,” said Delecour. “I always have a good feeling on snow and in the past we have always gone very well on snowy rallies and really enjoyed this surface. So I’m really looking forward to it.”
Delecour is one of several star names competing in Latvia in a Super 2000 car. The event will enjoy extensive coverage on Eurosport.
