The 43 crews starting the second and final leg of Rally Internacional de Curitiba were greeted by bright sunshine when they left service from the city´s race circuit this morning. While there is still a 40 per cent chance of rain later today, the prospects for a dry second leg are strong.

Kris Meeke, who leads the rally by 32.7 seconds, will start first on the road today in his Peugeot 207 Super 2000. He said: "We might lose a bit of time here and there but we’re prepared for that and we’ve got to manage our lead. It’s a long day but we know what we’ve got to do."
